It's a beautiful world.
A wonderful life.
A beautiful day.
A wonderful way to live.
I pick up the paper,
threw out the news.
I read all the comics
read the reviews.
Debates about nothing from beginning to end
and then I pick it back up and read it again.
I went back to bed.
I started to dream.
I held out my hand and I started to scream.
I pulled out a gun.
I pointed it there
but I could not proceed cause I was way to scared.
A knock at the door.
She pulled me aside.
She says "Can I come in?"
I thought she was nice.
An angel was sin in my world once again
and I know when I'm down it's not too late.
It's a beautiful world.
A wonderful life.
A beautiful day.
A wonderful way to live.
I dressed all up in black.
I made a big scene.
I started a revolution then they all got mean.
Nobody wants to hear what I have to say
so I busted my guitar and ran away.
A man came to me.
He asked me for change.
He told me a story that wasn't so strange
I made a new friend and now I understood
life is what you make it and...
It's a beautiful world.
A wonderful life.
A beautiful day.
A wonderful way to live.
I'm just living and I'm just fine.
I don't need nobody to read my mind.
I'll stick around and see what I can find.
but don't get down.
Stay up high.
You know that's the way but then everyone cries.
Everyone's got this burden to bare.
Just know you're not alone, you're not alone out there.
Somebody needs you right about now.
Somebody needs you so show them how.
If you're feeling down let me be the one
to lift you up and say....
It's a beautiful world.
A wonderful life.
A beautiful day.
A wonderful way to live.
